I enlarged my kingdom printout to approximately the size I wished, but ended up tracing it a little bigger to healthy the piece higher. Then, I simply painted outdoor the country in plain white latex paint. I drilled my holes in the top plank earlier than painting. whilst the paint turned into dry, I sanded the rims and gently over the paint with my sander to expose some of the wood. I wiped all of the dirt off then positioned a coat of stain over each piece, wiping it off the paint as much as I may want to. i like this method (found it atThrifty & sublime) and it’s so clean to do!

to enhance it, I introduced a couple 12″ poplar battens to the returned with little screws simply to be safe.

instead of permanently attaching the frame, I used a nail so that they could take it off without difficulty to insert images and also should change out the body as they preferred. I strung some rope through the holes and knotted it, then it turned into prepared to hang!

this is so innovative! thank you so much for sharing w/ Monday Funday~ xo

i really like this! it'd be a outstanding present for a military circle of relatives, too. ;)

That’s a brilliant idea Jessica, it would!!
